Ivana Trump’s garish Lenox Hill townhouse is still on the market

Ivana Trump made the news after her death last year at age 73 when it was revealed that her ex-husband Donald Trump had buried her in a very modest grave at his golf course in Bedminster, New Jersey. Now she’s making headlines again for her not-at-all modest Lenox Hill townhouse, which is still up for sale after more than two months on the market.

The black-and-gold grilled doors on the six-story, almost 9,000-square-foot limestone-clad townhouse only hint at the garish profusion of fabrics, finishes, and furnishings inside. In true Trump fashion, the interiors are a sight to behold.

The formal gallery, pictured at top, sports gilded paneling and an impossibly large chandelier decked out in Italian crystals that emerges from a fabric-tented ceiling.

On the second floor (accessed via a marble staircase) there’s a cream-and-yellow Versailles-meets-Vegas dining room where guests can gaze into an interior courtyard.

For those who don’t do stairs, a birdcage-style elevator leads to floors above. On the third floor primary suite, a safari theme prevails with a leopard-print library and office with a black-and-gold fireplace. A random blonde doll sitting on the couch adds a lived-in touch to the staging photos.

The primary bedroom’s en suite bathroom is pure 1980s pastel pink, with Onxy marble galore, double sinks, and soaking tub, and more mirrors than a fun house.

An expansive French-doored terrace leads into the comparatively subdued primary bedroom. The overall ambiance of the home is well-captured in the video walkthrough below:

The home, at 10 East 64th Street between Madison and Fifth avenues, hit the market in November 2022 with an asking price of $26.5 million.
