Bulbous-formed furnitures, circular mirrors, trees, patterns are all clad in pinkish hues to create the “filter glasses” experience in a cafe in Valencia, Spain.
Named Beverly Cafe, the interiors, designed by Valencia-based interior design practice Onlyou Design Studio, aim to offer a different atmosphere, life and tastes in only pink.
The design studio intented to offer a timeless proposal by adding a lot of style and personality, based on monochrome; all in a color out of trend – powdered pink.
In the interior, which looks like a mess in a single color, all furniture, surfaces, decoration elements are presented in the same, powdered pink color and takes a customer into a surreal and instagrammable atmosphere.
“Special pieces, made to measure, and with designs carried out exclusively for this order. And obviously, all in pink,” said Onlyou Design Studio, led by Nacho Álvarez, CEO, Creative Director at the studio.
The most remarkable intervention of the studio made is in the entrance hall in the toilets, which features a mural work of Gamuzacraft. The work presents a pure Valencian craftsmanship, composed of more than 600 scales of national cowhide.
“An experimental intervention with pink gradients that simulates an “effervescence”,” added the studio.
All the luminaires, as well as the more than 25 balloons made of fiberglass in Milan, make an almost acrobatic game on the mirror ceiling, as if it were an inverted circus.
There are four half-moon benches with minimalist tubular backrests with retro winks, which are combined with Sancal seats, and light reflections by Flos, of course, with pink light beam.
