Romanian Design Week (RDW), the most important multidisciplinary 10-day festival in Romania, has announced its theme for the even’t 2023 edition: Connections.

The 2023 edition of Romanian Design Week will take place from 12 to 28 May in Bucharest.

Themed as Connections, the theme aims to generate opportunities for dialogue and creative cross-encounters and to encourage interdisciplinary and collaborative projects.

Organized by The Institute and presented by UniCredit Bank, the 11th edition of the festival will feature a main exhibition, based on an open call which has invited architects and designers who designed projects in the last two years. The exhibition mainly presents works that become the best representatives of local creative industries.

RDW will present the largest program of satellite events around local neighborhoods and historical areas of Bucharest, as well as a series of related events in public spaces, but also in other cities in the country.

World Architecture Community is official media partner of Romanian Design Week 2023 and will be bringing you the latest news from the festival.
